Kathleen Moors was born in 1955 and resides with her family in Calgary, Alberta.  She received her

degree in Education from the University of Lethbridge, Alberta and has taken numerous courses from

the Alberta College of Art and Design.  She has been a professional artist in Alberta since 1990 and has exhibited widely in Western Canada.  Formerly, she was passionate about capturing the sense of spirit in river settings and used landscape as a way of resolving issues of identity and place.  Recently, she has shifted her focus in both media and subject matter as she combines a study of social commentary, spirituality and sustainability in her Covenant Series.
